I would like to introduce myself. My name is Caylee Whealton and I am the preschool director. I have 3 wonderful boys; ages 8, 11, and 12. I have lived in Fort Collins for the past 14 years. I have an older brother and 3 younger sisters.
I lived in many places growing up. I was born here in Fort Collins. When I was 4, my family moved to Arkansas. My father’s job then took us to Kenya, Africa and we lived there for several years. During our years in Africa, I was able to travel to many places including England, France, Spain, Switzerland and Israel. I loved every minute of it and learned so many things from our travels! The one thing I did have trouble with was learning new languages! I can speak a little Swahili and a little French...... very little! My family ended up in Virginia for my high school years. We lived just an hour south of Washington D.C. After I graduated, I attended Ricks College in Rexburg, ID.
While my children were young, I ran a home preschool for 4 years. Now that my kids are older, I have the great opportunity to work in a facility and continue to work on a preschool level. I have worked in the kindergarten classrooms for the past year and am so excited to now be in the preschool. I love working with little children! I have decided to further my education and am currently attending FRCC.

Mrs. Hoggan
Hello! I am Lisa Hoggan and I am really excited about the opportunity to learn and work with all the preschool age children. What a fun age!!
A little about my family . . . I met my husband Zach here in Fort Collins. My youth was spent on the plains of Kansas, his in Wyoming. We both enjoy Colorado and decided the Fort Collins area is where home would be. We have 3 fun, interesting and lively children who add an array of dynamics to our home, Jarod (8), Morgan (4) and Alexander (18 months). We live on a small farm where we enjoy growing a large vegetable garden, raising chickens and rabbits, playing with our cats and riding horses.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I really enjoy not only teaching, but learning with my students. I enjoy getting to know my students, what they like and enjoy to do. I received my bachelors degree from Colorado State University. I have had the opportunity to teach children of all ages western equitation and the basic care of horses. I have organized and taught many summer equestrian camps and classes for children. One adventure I really enjoyed, was having my own in home preschool. I really had a wonderful time working with the children, teaching them many basic fundamentals in a fun learning environment.
The highlights of my summer are camping trips to the mountains with my family. We love being outdoors!! I enjoy being active. Basketball is my all time favorite sport. Yes, I did play in High School and continue to play when ever the opportunity presents itself. Scrapbooking and quilting are pastimes that do not always get as much attention as I would like to give them.
Let’s have some fun learning about . . . oh so many things!!
